Halstead & Ackerman Patent
& Disston # 9 Square w/ Bevel The
brass version is marked with Patentee names and date. The iron one
not. It conforms to catalog entries for a Disston # 9 Square w/ bevel.
I see no maker name or info on it. Overall condition is nice.
Stanley # 20 Try Square
w/ Level in Handle Not sure what to think of
this. Pretty sure, but you never know. Not sure if the collector
knew, or ? What I am getting at is I think this is a fantasy piece
made up for the unsuspecting. Pretty well done, but done nonetheless.
Pretty sure Stanley never offered such a thing. Perhaps I am wrong and it is the rare of the rare. You decide.
W. Moore Patent Pending Roof Framing Bevel / Tool
I could find no info on, or other examples of this odd roof framing
tool. The wood block is marked with angled lines on the backside. The top
side is brass and marked with similar lines that are called off with
different roof pitches like 4/12 - 6/12 and so forth. There are also named
pitches like half pitch - quarter pitch and so forth. Across the bottom it
says Pat. Pending. Across the top arch is a name. E. W. Moore and 1923
date. Below that what looks like Light - win? The thumbscrew has a brass
washer made from a token marked with Mr. Moore's name and a San Francisco
location. The street address is unreadable. (see pic) Google knows
nothing about any of this. A one of? More research needs to be done.
1868 Fisher Patent
Level w/ Rule - Square - Protractor & Beve Nice condition
overall. Genuine patina. Note the decorative bone inlay on one side.
I assume it is owner done. Will clean to be nicer. An
