Disston & Morss 1868 Fisher Patent
Combined Protractor & Bevel w/ Level - Square - Rule
The Fisher Patent Carpenters Combination Tool was patented by in 1868. Disston & Morss
the famous square, level, and other tools maker marketed the idea. Top One - - - The body is Rosewood. Clear patent info and increment markings on the brass protractor. Steel blade has rule markings. Bubble is good. The thumbscrew on the protractor is a replacement that functions as it should. Very nice!!
Bottom - - - The body is Rosewood with an ivory inlay. Probably owner done as I have never seen another. Clear patent info and increment markings on the brass protractor. Steel blade has rule markings. Bubble is good. The thumbscrews are proper and original. Very nice!!

small square looks like it should be a double square, but there is just a
small slot not allowing much movement. A catalog cut mentions taking it
apart allowing it to be regrinding or lapping either the blade or stock to
make it like new again.

1864 Patent
4-Stem Brass Tip Mortise Gauge / Gage Tool
his unusual 4 stem marking gauge is in fine condition. It looks like Rosewood. It was patented in 1864.
The patent date is stamped on the head.
A single screw holds the 4 arms and can lock them all at once. This idea worked quite well, making the Sholl a popular marking tool in their day. The Sholl patent gauge / gage was produced for about 20 years in both 3- and 4-arm configurations.
Most of these gauges found are well used and rough, or have warped stems. None of those issues are a concern here. The overall condition is very nice.
This example is a bit different from the norm in that none of the stems are marked with increments or a name. A fine piece for the collection or use.

Patented 1888 Mortise Gauge / Marking Gage Tool
This nickel plated double beam wheeled marking / mortise gauge is in very nice condition.
It was manufactured by the Leavitt Machine Company of Orange Massachusetts.
It is marked with a patent date of June 12, 1888. It was patented by Lucius O. Barrett of Brattleboro Vermont.
This gauge actually is an example of his Aug. 16, 1894 patent for the locking arm mechanism. It is a double beam gauge with graduations on the large beam. It retains most all of it's nickel plating and is marked with the manufacturer and patent date on the head.
A very nice example for use or the collection.

1800s. It is the same Disston as the saw maker. Morss and he had a

Nice overall condition. NOS. I have several of these available. Given the design and
casting, I believe they are USA made earlier versions as the newer English
ones are a rounder casting. They measure 11/16s wide, and do not fit

Stanley Nickers & Screws Nice overall condition.
They are NOS. There are 2 different size screws, and some the last guy was
modifying to make them fit other planes - or something. There are also a
couple single spur nickers for 50s or perhaps some other plane. I used some of the screws on
78s and some fit perfect, some stood proud. Nickers are $8.50 ea. two for $15.00. Screws
are $5.00 each.

Millers Patent Recast Wrap Around Fences Plus 1 Repaired
A project begun and never finished. There are 4 rough casting
fences for the Millers Patent # 41 plow & Fillister plane that need to
be finished out. I imagine you can not have one done for less. Looks
like two different types or eras.The bottom one is a repaired fence off a No. 41. I was told it was from a first model w/ hook.
