Stanley / Gage # G4 C Corrugated Bottom Smooth PlaneStanley / Gage # G4 C Corrugated Bottom Smooth Plane This is a nice looking example. It dates from the 1920s and given how it is marked Pat Appl'd For and without a G prefix, it would be a first model type 1. The Rosewood handle and knob are both very nice. There has been minor losses to the japanning. No structural issues, cracks chips or the like. Nice enough for the collection, or a good user!!

Stanley No. 33 Type 5 Pre Lateral Transitional Jointer PlaneStanley No. 33 Type 5 Pre Lateral Transitional Jointer Plane This Type 5 Pre Lateral Jointer is in fine condition and is nicest condition early No. 33 I have ever seen or had. It dates from 1872 - 1875 according to the type study. All features match the type study.

The No. 33 is 28" long and has a 2 5/8" cutter. It is the second longest transitional plane Stanley offered and one of the harder to find. A very nice example of a hard to find Stanley Transitional plane in exceptional condition for the collection.

Stanley Defiance Jack PlaneStanley Defiance Jack Plane The overall condition is about as nice as one could ask for. The 1950s Defiance line of planes and tools was a post WWII Stanley offering for the "NEW" buyer of tools in America. America's new consumer, the post war Happy Homeowner / Weekend Warrior.

This plane was made by Stanley but is only marked Defiance on the cutter. It has a more typical design frog and lever cap than the lesser design model they offered with the same Defiance designation and different #.

Perfect for the collection, or perhaps today's casual user. Looking for a real user, choose another.

Stanley Two Tone Jack PlaneStanley Two Tone Jack Plane  The Two Tone line of Stanley planes was another marketing entry into the marketplace by Stanley. Stanley sure was not trying to impress the working guy back from the war that bought his last Bed Rock plane before WWII ended the production of that line of quality planes.  Here we have fewer quality features dressed up colorfully to appeal to the eye.   Just what the admen decided the "New" American consumer was looking for.

Very nice condition, and perfect for the collection, or perhaps today's casual user.
