we sell include antique

antique and vintage woodworking tools
(especially
antique patented woodworking planes), patented antique sewing machines,
American patent models, vintage salesman samples, unusual antique pressing irons
and sadirons, figural cast iron antiques, rare examples of early mechanical
kitchen antiques,
early office antiques, and antique electrical devices
including fans and open frame or Bi-polar motors.
Our interests also include what is known as Americana and General / Country Store Antiques and related antique advertising.

Services We Offer
To meet the varied needs of today's antique collectors and sellers
of antiques we provide a
five-fold service-oriented approach to buying and selling antiques
and collectibles.
1) Consignment Sales
of antiques is the primary means for sales of antiques
on our antique website.
We are
currently selling antiques on consignment from several very large and diverse
antique collections. We are also selling individual antiques on
a consignment basis from collectors or individuals from all over the
country who are downsizing or selling antiques for other reasons.
One
antique collection we are handling is focused on antique tools. Another collection is laundry-related antiques
including antique
pressing / sad irons and trivets, along with a lot of Country & General Store
Antiques. We are also handling another
antique collection comprised
of primarily antique sad irons. We are also currently handling two
other smaller antique collections focused on sewing machines and sewing
related related accessories that we are busy listing on the site right
now.
If you have an individual antique or a collection of
antiques to sell this consignment approach eliminates the adversarial
role between us, because we are both working toward realizing maximum

We are helping consignors, both the original
collectors and their relatives / spouses sell these
collections of antiques.

utright Purchase and Sales
This is how most dealers obtain merchandise and many people with
antiques to sell prefer this approach. It can be the quickest and cleanest approach to buying and selling antiques if
you
know what you want and are realistic we will buy outright. But many sellers of antiques
claim they have no idea what their antique
is worth, or expect to get "retail" when in fact they are selling to a
dealer, setting
up the classic adversarial conflict.

deal!
3) Internet Auction Listing
Service of quality single pieces or
antique
collections. If
time is a factor
and your willing to let current market forces rule, we alternatively offer an
expedited sales approach through Ebay or other
internet auction sites. We have several thousand positive feedbacks
from selling antiques and collectibles there and it can be a good
approach for certain pieces. We offer this service on a commission

4) Finders Service for Antique Buyers
who are
looking for specific antiques to add to their collections. We offer
a paid finders service for serious collectors looking for serious pieces
and treat a paid retainer as a contract to find and provide the piece for
a reasonable commission. We will work for a fixed finders fee as well. We treat general requests to look
for something as such---general requests.
5) Appraisals, Research and
Consultations are offered as part of the above services for no
fee------ within reason. If appraisals or research are desired for
unrelated reasons we offer these services as a paid service. Please see the
