A note on SHIPPING: Large heavy trivets will be shipped in a Priority Mail Flat Rate box for $10 if possible. Smaller ones in Priority boxes for $6.00. I will put as many trivets of any size as I can fit into the Flat Rate box, making the shipping rate for multiple buys very attractive.

to hang over the edge of a fireplace gate. Both are marked with the name Kenrick,
the famed English foundry. Both are in super fine condition.

Brass English Hearth Trivet
The owner put a tag on this unusual round
fireplace fender trivet that says "Regency brass trivet---English". Ornamental
and beautiful although there is the beginning of a crack resulting from a bend in
the leg of one of the cleats.

Brass Antique Fireplace Trivet
This is another fabulous hearth-type
trivet dating from the1800's. The workmanship shows both skill and creativity!
The cleats that hold over the edge of the fireplace fender are little paws or hands,
and the balancing bracket incorporates two heads of swans or similar creatures into
the design. A very special piece!
