A note on SHIPPING: I will put as many trivets as I can fit into a Priority Mail Flat Rate box, making the shipping rate for multiple buys very attractive.
A note on ORDERING trivets from this page: Because of the volume of trivets we are offering the best way to order trivets from this page, after selecting the one(s) you want, would be to click the Order Now button to open an email. Then place your mouse just to the right of the order now button for the one selected and click the left button down, and move your mouse to just above the picture until it and the text is highlighted. Release, right click, hit copy, then simply paste what you just copied into the email window and tell me which trivet(s) you want in the picture that shows. This will save a bunch of time, and ensure that you get the correct trivet(s). And is really simple to do. Thanks!!

Different Colebrookdale Cast Iron Trivets How about that---both are
from the Colebrookdale Iron Co. of Pottstown, PA and both are cast with the
figure of a crown, but look closely because they are a little bit different from
each other!

Nickel Plated Cast Iron Gas Iron Trivets
The top left is marked "Iwantu" Comfort Iron Strause Gas Iron Co. Phila, PA USA" and has the that iron cast in as the central motif. This spade shape trivet is a variation of the double pointed "Iwantu" trivet that is listed elsewhere on this site. ML-T-13 Excellent .......... $17.50
The top right is a spade shape Humphrey Gas Iron trivet manufactured by General Specialty Co. it says. Nice casting with the H G I letters incorporated into the design. ML-T-14 Excellent .......... $22.00
The bottom trivet is for the Rosenbaum Mfg. Co. "Uneedit" Gas Iron. I love the not-so-subtle marketing techniques that are not too different from those used today. This trivet has a really pretty design and again the company's iron is cast in as the central motif. Would make me want to buy it! ML-T-15 Excellent .......... $25.00
2
Elaborate Antique Cast Iron Trivets These two trivets are
substantial in weight and appearance. Both have a decorative "sawtooth"

Beautiful
"Sheaf of Wheat" Cast Iron Trivet This cast iron trivet is
exquisite! The design is great, the casting is beautiful, and it will
clean up to be one of the nicest trivets you could hope to find!

2
Floral Design Cast Iron Trivets These two trivets are a little
"crusty", but they will clean up nicely to reveal their beautiful floral
designs. The trivet on the left has the initials "M B" on the handle and
"D E" on either side of the basket of flowers. The trivet on the right has
some "character" in that one leg is slightly shorter than the other two, so it
sits a bit cockeyed.

Different Double Pointed Cast Iron Trivets---JSH & Co, Best on Earth and
Imperial
The nickel plated trivet on the left has the unusual marking of "J.S.H. & Co" and "Crown". The letters are incised. I've never seen this marking before and imagine it was for a lesser known company. ML-T-31
The trivet in the center is a "Best on Earth" with raised lettering. It is in super condition! The letters are larger than the other Best on Earth listed above, and it has a textured "background" that is unusual. ML-T-32
The trivet on the right has cutout letters that read "Imperial" and then the double marking for Consolidated Gas Iron Co. NY. ML-T-33

Right.........Excellent..............$25.00 SOLD!

Cut / Punched / Pressed Steel Trivets The trivet on the left is a
pressed steel with a sawtooth rail, cutout designs, and the letters UCM in a
stencil-type lettering.
ML-T-34
The trivet on the right has the same sort of workmanship, the same basic shape and form, but it's more like a Rorschach test. What letters do you see in it? ML-T-35
The trivet in the center looks to be earlier than the other two, and probably a one-of-a-kind made by an individual craftsman. The rail is pinned onto the base with tangs, and the lets are pinned and peened. The 6-pointed star within circle cutouts are finely done as is the handle detailing. The letters "D P" are subtly worked into the design---the maker's signature I imagine. A super piece of early metalworking craftsmanship! ML-T-36

Center................Very Good.............$65.00 SOLD!
Two
Early Handmade Trivets Both of these trivets show the signs
of individual workmanship. The trivet on the left is simple but well
constructed in the way the rail is attached to the base. The trivet on the
right is a great example of early American design and reminds me of a pattern
for quilting or stenciling.
