# 85 Scraper Plane
This #85 Scarper is
in super original condition. It retains 95% or better of its original japanning.
The finish on the Rosewood handle and knob is nice and there is no chipping or damage.
The cutter is marked Stanley from the Sweet Heart era. These are often found
without any mark or missing the cutter altogether. Overall a super example
of a hard to find plane.

# 87 Scraper Plane
This #87 Scarper is
in overall very nice original condition. It retains 95% or better of its original
japanning. The finish on the Rosewood handle and knob is nice and there is
just one small chip out of the top of the tote. The cutter is unmarked but
looks original and correct.
There is one apology. On the
rear drivers side rail the previous owner stamped his initials CAT, and when he
hit that last letter he created a small and barely noticeable hairline that if I
did not mention it might be overlooked. You can see it in the close-up pics.
It is stable and hard to see, but there. Overall a super example of
a very hard to find Stanley scraper plane.

# 40 Scrub Plane
The #40 scrub plane was used to surface rough lumber. The cutter is marked with the sweetheart logo,
and is full length. It has been used, but is in nice overall condition,
and ready for the bench and to be put back in service. Nice!!

# 40 1/2 Scrub Plane
The #40 1/2 is the larger version of the more common #40 scrub plane. This
example has been reconditioned / repainted and is in like new condition. The wood
has
been refinished and looks great. There is a keyhole hang hole in the front that looks good
enough to have been done at the factory. The cutter is marked with the sweetheart logo,
and is full length. This plane looks to have never been used, and is
waiting to go back to work. Nice!!

# 56 Core Box Plane The #56 Core Box plane is
one of the hardest to find of the Stanly special use planes. They must
have reached the peak of their value and popularity just about when the
collector bought this from Iron Horse and paid the hefty sum of $1260.00, a lot
for any Stanley plane back in the early 80's The condition is very
nice with no rust pitting or damage. The japanning does have some
pockmarks in it and an area of some missing. All in all though a rare
plane in nice condition.

# 57 Core Box Plane w/ 3 Sets of Wings
The plane itself is hard enough
to find these days, and rarely seen with any of the auxiliary wings not to mention
all 3 sets of wings and the correct turnbuckles. A nice example
straight of the collectors shelf.

& #148 Tongue & Groove Planes
These three planes came from the same fitted box.
The plating on each is near perfect. One has the original cutters, one has
one original and one good replacement, and the 148 has two "blanks" which look to
be cutters from a 45 and need to be sized to look proper. A very nice grouping.

Second Model # 113 Compass Plane
This 113 has the nickel wheel w/ 4 holes. It
is just a little dirty and has seen little use. It is fully functional
and pretty nice overall. Everything is tight and proper and overall it is
much nicer than the one above condition wise. These early versions are much
harder to find than the later ones.

# 193 Fiberboard Plane
This 193 retains
most of it original japanning. It looks to have seen little use. The
Rosewood handle is very nice. There are lots of parts but I do not know if
they are all here. Certainly enough to get you going. Overall a nice
example of a hard to find plane.
