Wooden Barrel Makers Plane
This style of plane was for cutting the groove for
the top or bottom of a barrel or similar work like on carriages. It has a
set cutter width and a nicker for each side. It cuts about an inch wide groove
which would be an awfully large barrel. It appears the cutter is a new
replacement. The wedge may be a replacement as well but looks
good. A large and graphic example that has been hanging from the rafters for
the last 20 some years. Nice.

C. F. Close Coopers Planes
These all metal coopers planes by C. F.
Close of Rochester NY are not found very often. One is a Croze, and so marked,
and the others are a Howell plane & Sun Plane. All have seen use as most Coopers
tools have, but due to their unusual all metal construction they are still pretty
nice.
