Level This and the two similar
levels above warrant a short story here. They are an example of the herd
mentality and the problem with price guides and "faith". Back in the good
old days this style level was listed in a price guide as being worth $200 or
more dollars. I swear the guy did it just to see if he could control or
affect the market. It worked and he did. For several years everyone
had these out for outrageous prices with no thought about it. I even sold
one for that kind of money and the buyer when he found one the next week for
$5.00 wanted me to refund his money. That was interesting. And
mine had the different colored vials. Today it makes little difference,
and the market has over time corrected itself. The beanie baby of levels.
