#3 Enterprise Coffee Mill This very nice condition coffee mill was made by the most famous maker of cast iron coffee grinders and other cast iron kitchenware, The Enterprise Manufacturing Co. of Philadelphia PA..  It is in very nice condition overall and is all original.  The paint is good+ and just slightly faded as is often found.  There are lots of decals remaining with good color although there has been some wear as would be expected to some. The wooden drawer  is proper and original.  We have used these mills to grind our coffee in the past, and it really does have a different flavor from the electric knife blade electric grinders most people are using.  I suppose that is why they are now offering electric burr grinders.    The wood base is nice and has a great patina.  One size bigger than the #2 these mills stand 14" tall and the wheel diameter is 12".  They make for a great display piece in the country kitchen decor.        Click for Pic      Click for Pic     Click for Pic      Click for Pic

Enterprise #1 Coffee Mill   This #1 size Enterprise coffee mill was made by the most famous maker of cast iron grinders and other cast iron kitchenware.  It is in very nice overall condition and the paint is bright and decals are original and better than most.  The base is original.  There are lots of decals remaining with good color.  A couple of them do show wear, but overall they are very nice.  The cast iron drawer with the porcelain knob is proper and original.  This mill works fine and grinds.  #1  mills stand just over 12 inches tall and never had wheels.  They can be used, and this one grinds just fine, but in general those with wheels a little weight to move things along work better in actual use.  A great piece of Kitchenania.

Universal Wall Hung # 014 Coffee Mill   Landers, Frary & Clark are well known to kitchen collectors for their mixers and churns, and this antique wall-mount coffee grinder is one more example from their great line of mechanical household devices.  This grinder features a cast iron body surrounding the grinding mechanism, and a tin canister to hold the beans. It has a small plastic viewing window in the side that has a crack.   It is in good overall condition with most of the original black japanning intact. The canister lid is present and the often missing catch-cup for the ground is here as well.    Click for Pic

Landers, Frary & Clark Wooden Box Coffee Mill   The name Landers, Frary & Clark is well known to kitchen collectors for their product line and this antique coffee grinder is one more example from their great line of mechanical household devices.  This grinder features a cast iron top and crank and a wooden finger jointed box below to catch the ground coffee..  It is in good overall condition and the drawer is original.     Click for Pic     ML-COF-2
