Model General
Electric D-12
Toaster The D12 was the first
commercially produced toaster in America and was introduced in 1909 or so.
This one has one patent date on the base and another patent pending below that.
It has the high rack which makes it an earlier model, and the ends are closed
which makes it a rare and seldom seen first model. This is a rare toaster! There
are some stained hairlines in the bottom of the base but no real damage or cracks.
It works I am not sure if the cord is original or not, but it fits.
A nice toaster and hard to find version.
