Unusual Antique Sadirons and Flatirons
Page 2
A note on shipping: I ship most iron in fixed rate Priority boxes. There are two sizes of these boxes available now. One, two or sometimes even 3 or 4 irons can fit in the new larger fixed rate box making shipping quite reasonable.
Spade-Shaped Sadiron Marked "174" This 7" iron is curiously marked with the number 4 on the toe and then "174" in the middle. I don't have a clue what that might mean, but it is finely made and a really beautiful example of an antique iron. LCM-FL-8
Excellent ..... $14.50

2 Different Antique Sadirons Marked "KO" These two irons are somewhat different from each other in shape and size, but they are both marked with the letter "K" and the letter "O" at the back end, so were obviously from the same manufacturer. I believe they are English from the quality of the work and the style, but I don't know for sure. The number 17 has a contoured stepped base design while the number 19 is more squared off. The bottoms of both are rounded at the heel for polishing. Both are extremely well made and finely cast. LCM-FL-16 LCM-FL-17
