Antique Gas / Fuel Pressing Irons
Blue and Black Porcelain Radiation Rhythm Gas Iron This style English natural gas iron comes in several colors, including green and this harder-to-find blue and white speckled color with black. I'm not sure what the significance of the name is but the iron itself is a real eye-catcher. The porcelain is in great shape and it displays really well. A tough iron to find here in the states.

Excellent ..... $75.00
Unusual English Gas Jet Iron This very small antique gas iron is one I have not seen or had before. There are American versions that are very rare, and I assume these from England are tough to find as well. To heat it up you would put it directly on a lit gas jet, which would shoot fire up the inside body cavity. Really unusual, and it will clean up nicely. LCM-GI-I-2
Very Good ..... $135.00
Antique Wall-Mount Gas Jet This decorative piece of antique hardware is an example of the type of gas jet that would have been used to heat gas irons and other "modern" appliances in the early 1900's. These are a great way to display an iron like the one above. Click for Pic LCM-GJ-1
Excellent ..... $25.00
Unusual English Fuel Tank Iron This liquid fuel iron hails from across the pond and is complete with its original trivet. It is in super condition. LCM-GI-I-3

Salters Antique Natural Gas Iron This English liquid fuel iron has a great look with a beautiful design cast into the top that incorporates the manufacturer's name. And check out the decorative gas hookup / air regulator, which is also marked "Patent". Click for Pic ML-GI-I-1
Very Good ..... $145.00
"Otto" Improved Patent Liquid Fuel Iron This is an English natural gas iron with some patent information cast into the top. It's about the only gas iron I know of that has the gas line hookup coming out the side rather than the front or back. The iron is in super condition. The heat shield is really nice and so is the handle. It doesn't look like it ever saw much use, and now it will look great sitting on the shelf out on display! Click for Pic

Gebe Patent German Gas Jet Iron This iron was designed to be heated over a gas jet. The vent hole in the front is somewhat different in design than what was typically done on this style iron. These "ox tongue" shaped European irons are considered "dual fuel" because they could also be heated by inserting a hot slug into the body cavity. This iron is in good condition but needs to be cleaned up a bit. Click for Pic
