The
"Upright" Fluter
This fluter is pretty hard to find and has a neat
appearance. The
handle is straight up, and it has a single post handle. It is also called the
Potato Masher by some because of the style. The cast iron base is
on footed feet with a a hollow for the slug, which is marked HEATER. A seldom seen
fluter, and rarely in this condition.

Whitfield "Magic" Rocker Fluter The base is marked Whitfield and Magic.
The top has an unusual design that resembles a Rhoarschot test to me, but probably
represents something to do with Magic. I am not sure.

Geneva
Hand Rocker Fluter
Hailing from Geneva Illinois this is the
classic rocker fluter, and oftentimes the one that gets the collection going!
Although advanced collectors consider these to be pretty common there are actually
several variations in these irons in the pattern of the dots and in the way
the name is written. This example is clean and bright---the fluted portions
are a cast alloy material and upon close inspection there is some evidence of
deterioration going on in the form of a tight crack in the rocker, but overall
it displays well.
"Good
Luck" Rocker Style Fluting Iron
This is a nice looking and
hard to find fluter. It appears it was at one time nickel plated and some
early collector thought it would look better with a coat of black paint on it.
No telling where ones taste runs.
