Cast Aluminum Tear Drop Cap Iron This is a very nice looking iron.

JVD Tear Drop Cap Iron This is an interesting iron with a shape that is different from most French teardrops. The top is marked JVD. It has a thin strap handle. I am not sure what foundry the letters designate. Note the decorative edge detail. Different and really nice!
Good + ........ $145.00
PR-1057
French DC Tear Drop Cap Iron with Flat Strap Handle This is a good looking iron. The top is marked DC, the French foundry or maker's mark. Note the decorative edge detail.

French "STAR" Tear Drop Cap Iron This teardrop shaped iron has a stylized STAR cast into the top as its logo or design. It is a special iron in super condition!

French FB Tear Drop Cap Iron This is a very handsome looking teardrop shape cap iron. The top is marked FB in a very stylized font. This example is in iron finish---they also came nickel plated. I have read that this is a foundry name from France. A very nice iron in very nice condition!
Good + ........ $85.00
PR-1061
Primitive Teardrop / Heart Shape Iron This is a different style iron. Very simple and primitive looking, teardrop bordering on heart-shaped. Think of the work involved in forming the rod and flat handle. Different!
Good + ........ $175.00
PR-809
Thin Base Teardrop Cap Iron This nice looking iron is a bit unusual. Note the raised cast bosses to accept the strap handle.
Good + ........ $95.00
PR-817
Round Back Antique Iron Marked "0" Irons having this graceful teardrop shape are more often found in Europe but rarely turn up in the US, except in longtime antique iron collections. The simple and thin bent strap handle is in great contrast to the thickness and curves of the base of the iron, and the casting of the "0" is sharp and very graphic. This is one of those irons you just want to pick up and handle. (TC 177[a])
Excellent.................$145.00
