Assorted Cast Block Handle Little Irons
Miniature Spade Shape Cross Hatch Block Grip Iron This is a nice casting, with a rod posts and cast cross-hatch grip. It is unmarked but shown in Judy Politizer's books on little irons. A tough one to find, and this example still has original paint.

2 Different ACW Child-Size Irons The A.C. Williams Co. of Ravenna, Ohio manufactured a whole line of irons back around the turn of the 20th century. Here are two of their child-size block handle irons, one measuring 3 inches in length and the other 3 3/4 inches. The smaller one is the actual iron that was pictured in Politizer's Tuesday's Children book on little irons, and comes with authentication written by Judy Politizer. Both of these nickel plated little irons are marked ACW and the larger one has the number 1 on it as well. (TC 221[b] and TC 221[a] actual iron photographed)

Small Child-size Copper Iron This is a unusual vintage child size iron. It was cast as one piece and has a strap and block handle. The entire iron is copper and was finished on the upper surfaces in black. There is no doubt it is vintage, and it is a very unusual form and material for a small iron. Cute!!
Excellent ........ $75.00 SOLD!

Child Size Rope Handle Spade Shape Sad Iron This is a rare variation. It looks common at first glance, but typically the rope style handle is found on little double point irons. These little spade shapes typically have almost any other style of handle than this. Check it out!!
Good ........ $35.00
