with rod posts and cast cross-hatch grip. It is unmarked but shown in
Judy Politizer's books on little irons. A tough one to find, and

Different ACW Child-Size Irons
The A.C. Williams Co. of Ravenna, Ohio manufactured a whole line of irons back
around the turn of the 20th century. Here are two of their child-size
block handle irons, one measuring 3 inches in length and the other 3 3/4 inches.
The smaller one is the actual iron that was pictured in Politizer's Tuesday's
Children book on little irons, and comes with authentication written by
Judy Politizer. Both of these nickel plated little irons are marked ACW
and the larger one has the number 1 on it as well.

This is a rare variation. It looks
common at first glance, but typically the rope style handle is found on little
double point irons. These little spade shapes typically have almost any
other style of handle than this. Check it out!!

"Electric" Streamline Iron
Here is an unusual Deco or Space Age inspired design miniature cast iron toy
iron. The green paint is original and is reminiscent of the teens or
twenties when that color scheme was popular. But this iron is more
often found in red than this green. The streamlined look is a design
element from that era that designers were beginning to incorporate into
their designs while looking toward the future.

"Star" Spade Shaped Irons The casting
of these Stevens irons is second to none. The wide variety of designs
that were produced make them a great choice to collect. The company manufactured
a whole series of graduated size spade shaped irons with 5-point stars cast
into the top, with each size iron numbered successively. These two examples
are a Number 12 and a Number 14, and they are both in outstanding condition.
The wooden handle grip on the #14 is probably a more recent, but well done,
replacement.

Unusual
Tri Bump Handle Iron without Ridges This iron is in really
fine condition. The tri-bump handle is very well defined and it is the
variation that is smooth with no ridges in the design. A sweet little
iron!
