Parkes Baking Powder Tins This was a competitor of
Rumfords and one of the many that did not fare as well as Rumford did with their
line of Baking Powder and other products. I have never seen this brand
before. They are both in very nice condition.

For the make it at home crowd. Imitation flavors and coloring are
not something new, and the stuff from this era probably had something to do with
the levels of ADAH and other behavioral issues from that era. There was
less of it then, and it was less an issue. Remember cool-aid?
