Boye Needle DisplayBoye Countertop Needle Dispenser on Base w/ Parts Drawer
These displays were kept near the front counter to sell needles and accessories to the customers from.  It must have been in a very slow location as this is the fullest I have ever seen one of these.  There are little wooden needle cases under nearly every slot.  I would guess that there are 50-75, and everyone I pulled out had needles in it.  And the drawer with 2 levels has a large assortment of sewing machine related things like shuttles and bobbins, oil can parts, screws, and more.

The overall condition is pretty nice.  A bit faded in spots, but nice.

I will not be selling individual needles or cases from this.

Boye Needle DispenserAnother Boye Countertop Needle Dispenser    Here is another Boye Needle and Shuttle Display Dispenser.  This one does not have the parts drawer base.  But there are probably 20 or more of the wooden needle cases with plenty of assorted needles inside.  The condition of the tin litho on this one is very good---oftentimes these displays have been over-cleaned but this one has not been and in still in very good original condition.

Again, I will not be selling individual needles or cases from this.

antique advertising DisplayPutnam Dye Sales Display Cabinet  This countertop point of sale display cabinet is in pretty nice condition.  There is some discoloration from minor rusting  but in general it seems stable and not a "growing" problem.  On the front is an image of General Putnam giving the Redcoats the universal signal of ------, or maybe he is just waving goodbye.   I have no idea what that has to do with dyes, but there must be a message or story somewhere in it.  Perhaps the Ritt dye company was being run by a Brit and this was Mr. Putnams way of making a statement.  Also included is a box full of the original dyes in their packages if you want them.    A neat piece of advertising.     Click for Pic     Click for Pic

antique Hershey Candy DispenserHershey 1Cent Candy Dispenser  This countertop or wall hung Hershey chocolate candy dispenser is in very nice condition.  It is a Walzer product called the "Moderne Vender" on the front ID tag.  I do not have the key.  It is not dented, broken, or damaged and it appears to be all original.

Have you heard they no longer want to put chocolate in their regular chocolate bars?  Have you ever tried some of that 20.00 lb. real chocolate that comes from boutique shops these days?  This thing marks the end of an era ------ One cent candy, not in your lifetime. One a day keeps the doctor away and the heart pumping.    A neat piece.     Click for Pic     Click for Pic      Click for Pic
